A protected row of dunes is surrounded by a carefully tended 150 ha hiking area including several exquisite, picturesque polder villages.

All this is at only 10 km distance from Ostend and Blankenberge and 20 km from Bruges, 'Venice' of the north. Further attractive possibilities: a visit to the historic town of Damme, the amusement parks, nature resort Het Zwin or even a day trip to London.

    Park Atlantis® has 3 tennis courts, football, volleyball , basketball courts, two petanque fields and a large playground. You can swim in the nearby swimming pools of the municipalities of De Haan and Bredene.

  2. Hiking and running

    The park itself invites hiking, because it is beautifully laid out and has some picturesque spots. There are marked hiking trails in the protected dunes.

  3. Beach and playground

    The sea is within walking distance and is very suitable for young children. There is a small playground in the park, as well as a large playground in the centre of De Haan.

  4. Cycling, Golf, Fishing and Horseback Riding

    This region is known for its interesting cycling routes. Within walking distance of the park we find the famous golf course of De Haan, a fish pond and riding school.
